5耶和华晓谕摩西说:
【niv】The LORD said to Moses:
6“你从以色列人中选出利未人来，洁净他们。
【niv】'Take the Levites from among the other Israelites and make them ceremonially clean.
7洁净他们当这样行:用除5罪水弹在他们身上，又叫他们用剃头刀刮全身，洗6衣服洁净自己。
【niv】To purify them, do this: Sprinkle the water of cleansing on them; then have them shave their whole bodies and wash their clothes, and so purify themselves.
8然后叫他们取一只公牛犊，并同献的素祭，就是调油的细面；你要另取一只公牛犊作赎罪祭。
【niv】Have them take a young bull with its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; then you are to take a second young bull for a sin offering.
9将利未人奉到会幕前，招聚以色列全会众。
【niv】Bring the Levites to the front of the Tent of Meeting and assemble the whole Israelite community.
10将利未人奉到耶和华面前，以色列人要按手在他们头上。
【niv】You are to bring the Levites before the LORD , and the Israelites are to lay their hands on them.
11亚伦也将他们奉到耶和华面前，为以色列人当作摇祭，使他们好办耶和华的事。
【niv】Aaron is to present the Levites before the LORD as a wave offering from the Israelites, so that they may be ready to do the work of the Lord.
12利未人要按手在那两只牛的头上，你要将一只作赎罪祭，一只作燔祭，献给耶和华，为利未人赎罪。
【niv】'After the Levites lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, use the one for a sin offering to the LORD and the other for a burnt offering, to make atonement for the Levites.
13“你也要使利未人站在亚伦和他儿子面前，将他们当作摇祭奉给耶和华。
【niv】Have the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons and then present them as a wave offering to the Lord.
14这样，你从以色列人中将利未人分别出来，利未人便要归我。
【niv】In this way you are to set the Levites apart from the other Israelites, and the Levites will be mine.
15此后，利未人要进去办会幕的事。你要洁净他们，将他们当作摇祭奉上；
【niv】'After you have purified the Levites and presented them as a wave offering, they are to come to do their work at the Tent of Meeting.
16因为他们是从以色列人中全然给我的，我拣选他们归我，是代替以色列人中一切头生的。
【niv】They are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to me. I have taken them as my own in place of the firstborn, the first male offspring from every Israelite woman.

【niv】For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone.
8我们若活着，是为主而活；若死了，是为主而死；所以我们或活或死，总是主的人。
【niv】If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
