生命之道-1

约翰壹书1：1-4
1论到从起初原有的生命之道，就是我们所听见、所看见、亲眼看过、亲手摸过的。
【niv】That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.
2(这生命已经显现出来，我们也看见过，现在又作见证，将原与父同在、且显现与我们那永远的生命传给你们。)。
【niv】The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.
3我们将所看见、所听见的，传给你们，使你们与我们相交，我们乃是与父并他儿子耶稣基督相交的。
【niv】We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
4我们将这些话写给你们，使你们(有古卷作“我们”)的喜乐充足。
【niv】We write this to make our joy complete.

马太福音16：21-26
21从此耶稣才指示门徒，他必须上耶路撒冷去，受长老、祭司长、文士许多的苦，并且被杀，第三日复活。
【niv】From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.
22彼得就拉着他，劝他说:“主啊，万不可如此!这事必不临到你身上。”
【niv】Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. 'Never, Lord!' he said. 'This shall never happen to you!'
23耶稣转过来，对彼得说:“撒但，退我后边去吧!你是绊我脚的，因为你不体贴 神的意思，只体贴人的意思。”
【niv】Jesus turned and said to Peter, 'Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.'
24于是耶稣对门徒说:“若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起他的十字架，来跟从我。
【niv】Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
25因为凡要救自己生命的(“生命”或作“灵魂”。下同。)，必丧掉生命；凡为我丧掉生命的，必得着生命。
【niv】For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.
26人若赚得全世界，赔上自己的生命，有什么益处呢?人还能拿什么换生命呢?
【niv】What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
