马太福音16：13-17， 27：11-26

13耶稣到了该撒利亚腓立比的境内，就问门徒说:“人说我人子是17谁(有古卷无“我”字)?”
【niv】When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, 'Who do people say the Son of Man is?'
14他们说:“有人说是施洗的约翰；有人说是以利亚；又有人说是耶利米或是先知里的一位。”
【niv】They replied, 'Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.'
15耶稣说:“你们说我是谁?”
【niv】'But what about you?' he asked. 'Who do you say I am?'
16西门彼得回答说:“你是基督，是永生 神的儿子。”
【niv】Simon Peter answered, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'
17耶稣对他说:“西门 巴约拿，你是有福的!因为这不是属血肉的指示你的，乃是我在天上的父指示的。
【niv】Jesus replied, 'Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.

11耶稣站在巡抚面前；巡抚问他说:“你是犹太人的王吗?”耶稣说:“你说的是。”
【niv】Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, 'Are you the king of the Jews?' 'Yes, it is as you say,' Jesus replied.
12他被祭司长和长老控告的时候，什么都不回答。
【niv】When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.
13彼拉多就对他说:“他们作见证告你这么多的事，你没有听见吗?”
【niv】Then Pilate asked him, 'Don't you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?'
14耶稣仍不回答，连一句话也不说，以致巡抚甚觉希奇。
【niv】But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge--to the great amazement of the governor.
15巡抚有一个常例，每逢这节期，随众人所要的，释放一个囚犯给他们。
【niv】Now it was the governor's custom at the Feast to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd.
16当时有一个出名的囚犯叫巴拉巴。
【niv】At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Barabbas.
17众人聚集的时候，彼拉多就对他们说:“你们要我释放哪一个给你们?是巴拉巴呢?是称为基督的耶稣呢?”
【niv】So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, 'Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?'
18巡抚原知道，他们是因为嫉妒才把他解了来。
【niv】For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him.
19正坐堂的时候，他的夫人打发人来说:“这义人的事，你一点不可管，因为我今天在梦中，为他受了许多的苦。”
【niv】While Pilate was sitting on the judge's seat, his wife sent him this message: 'Don't have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.'
20祭司长和长老挑唆众人，求释放巴拉巴，除灭耶稣。
【niv】But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.
21巡抚对众人说:“这两个人，你们要我释放哪一个给你们呢?”他们说:“巴拉巴。”
【niv】'Which of the two do you want me to release to you?' asked the governor. 'Barabbas,' they answered.
22彼拉多说:“这样，那称为基督的耶稣我怎么办他呢?”他们都说:“把他钉十字架!”
【niv】'What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called Christ?' Pilate asked. They all answered, 'Crucify him!'
23巡抚说:“为什么呢?他作了什么恶事呢?”他们便极力地喊着说:“把他钉十字架!”
【niv】'Why? What crime has he committed?' asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, 'Crucify him!'
24彼拉多见说也无济于事，反要生乱，就拿水在众人面前洗手，说:“流这义人的血，罪不在我，你们承当吧。”
【niv】When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. 'I am innocent of this man's blood,' he said. 'It is your responsibility!'
25众人都回答说:“他的血归到我们和我们的子孙身上。”
【niv】All the people answered, 'Let his blood be on us and on our children!'
26于是彼拉多释放巴拉巴给他们，把耶稣鞭打了，交给人钉十字架。
【niv】Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
约翰福音21：15-17

15他们吃完了早饭，耶稣对西门彼得说:“约翰的儿子西门(“约翰”马太十六章十七节称“约拿”)，你爱我比这些更深吗?”彼得说:“主啊，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣对他说:“你喂养我的小羊。”
【niv】When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?' 'Yes, Lord,' he said, 'you know that I love you.' Jesus said, 'Feed my lambs.'
16耶稣第二次又对他说:“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我吗?”彼得说:“主啊，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说:“你牧养我的羊。”
【niv】Again Jesus said, 'Simon son of John, do you truly love me?' He answered, 'Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.' Jesus said, 'Take care of my sheep.'
17第三次对他说:“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我吗?”彼得因为耶稣第三次对他说:“你爱我吗?”就忧愁，对耶稣说:“主啊，你是无所不知的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说:“你喂养我的羊。
【niv】The third time he said to him, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, 'Do you love me?' He said, 'Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.' Jesus said, 'Feed my sheep.
