15他们吃完了早饭，耶稣对西门彼得说:“约翰的儿子西门(“约翰”马太十六章十七节称“约拿”)，你爱我比这些更深吗?”彼得说:“主啊，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣对他说:“你喂养我的小羊。”
【niv】When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?' 'Yes, Lord,' he said, 'you know that I love you.' Jesus said, 'Feed my lambs.'

【niv】Again Jesus said, 'Simon son of John, do you truly love me?' He answered, 'Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.' Jesus said, 'Take care of my sheep.'

【niv】The third time he said to him, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, 'Do you love me?' He said, 'Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.' Jesus said, 'Feed my sheep.
彼前5：1-4

1 我这作长老、作基督受苦的见证、同享后来所要显现之荣耀的，劝你们中间与我同作长老的人:
【niv】To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ's sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed:
2 务要牧养在你们中间 神的群羊，按着 神旨意照管他们；不是出于勉强，乃是出于甘心；也不是因为贪财，乃是出于乐意；
【niv】Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve;
3 也不是辖制所托付你们的，乃是作群羊的榜8样。
【niv】not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
4 到了牧长显现的时候，你们必得那永不衰残的荣耀冠冕。
【niv】And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
徒20：27-28

27 因为 神的旨意，我并没有一样避讳不传给你们的。
【niv】For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.
28 圣灵立你们作全群的监督，你们就当为自己谨慎，也为全群谨慎，牧养 神的54教会，就是他用自己血所买来的(或作“救赎的”)。
【niv】Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.
